Dr. Eric Ayemere Okojie had his primary education at Roman Catholic Mission School I Warri and secondary education at Esan Grammer School Uromi.

Thereafter he had his post-secondary education at the Bendel State University Ekpoma where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Law in 1991. From 1991 – 199, he was in the Nigerian Law School Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1992. Thereafter went for his National Service in Ibadan, Oyo State with Adeyemo and Co. Law firm (1992-1993). Upon completion of his National Service he was employed in the Law firm of Prospect Chambers after which he moved to Chris Olisa Abutu Law Office. He proceeded to the Edo State University in 1998 to obtain LL.M. He completed his doctoral Research, PhD at Igbinedion University Okada in 2012.

In the course of his working life apart from his active legal practice, he is also engaged in active teaching and research in the Faculty of Law, University of Benin, Benin City and at different times he served as Head of Department Business Law , University of Benin, Benin City. His research interest is in Corporate Law and Public Law with emphasis on trado-medical law.

He has published widely in over 40 peer-reviewed journals in Nigeria, Africa and other parts of the world. He has published books as well, he was appointed to the office of a Notary Public of the Supreme Court by the Chief Justice of Nigeria in 2008. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and has served as the Financial Secretary of the Benin branch in 1993-1995. He is a legal consultant to many establishment and companies.

He is a member of the National Association of law teachers. A devout Catholic Christian, he is happily married to Dr (Mrs.) Rachel Okojie, a lecturer, Department of Microbiology, University of Benin and the marriage is blessed with four lovely children.
