Oke-Nwuzor John is a Monk of St. Benedict Monastery Ewu-Esan. He was born and raised in Nigeria, mainly in Abakaliki. He was admitted into the St benedict monastery in 1997, and underwent the necessary religious training which involved the study of Church History, Biblical Theology, Scripture, Liturgy and Sociology. Chinedu has served in various capacities in the Monastery as Assistant superior,

Bursar and director of the Monastery’s popular bakery. Br. Chinedu has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Ambrose Ali University, Edo State Nigeria from 2010-2014.He is currently the Personnel/work manager in Pax herbal and research laboratory at St. Benedict monastery Ewu-Esan of Edo state in Nigeria. He is clinical consultant at Paxherbals and a research fellow at African Centre for Integral Research and Development (OFIRDI).

He recently underwent a certificate program in Leadership and Rule of St Benedict by the International Monastic Institute of the Pontifical University of S. Anselmo, Rome, Italy and the Institute of Management of the University of St. Gallen (HSG) Switzerland. His research interest is in Strategy Making, Leading People, Shaping Organization, Managing Projects and herbal medicine.
